A fatal two-car crash in Dalkeith on Saturday night has claimed the life of a young woman and left two drivers injured. Police and emergency services rushed to the scene on Birdwood Parade following reports of the serious collision.

Major Crash officers have launched an investigation into the incident, which resulted in the death of a 24-year-old female passenger. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

A male driver in his 20s sustained critical injuries and was transported to Royal Perth Hospital for urgent medical treatment. The second driver, a 45-year-old man, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. He is currently assisting police with their inquiries.
