Fabio Di Giannantonio is steadily regaining his physical form as he prepares for the second round of the 2025 MotoGP season. The Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team rider has faced months of limited training due to injury, but his recovery is progressing, boosting his confidence ahead of the Argentina GP at Termas de Río Hondo.

The Italian admitted that his fitness was far from ideal at the season opener in Thailand, where he was still restricted in his movement. However, with additional time for recovery and training, he now feels much stronger.

“I’m feeling much better now than when I went to Thailand. I had a few more days to recover from surgery and start doing some light training with my shoulder,” Di Giannantonio explained, offering an update on his condition.

Despite not yet being at 100%, Di Giannantonio is eager to take on the challenge in Argentina. His performance in Thailand gave him a morale boost, and he is determined to continue building momentum.

“The Argentina GP will definitely be a challenge since I’m still not at my best physically, but after the results of the first race, I’m very excited to get back on the bike. I’m looking forward to returning to Termas de Río Hondo – it’s a fantastic track where I’ve always enjoyed racing,” he said.

Di Giannantonio has had strong performances at Termas de Río Hondo in the past, making it a track where he feels comfortable. His familiarity with the circuit could help him manage any physical limitations as he aims to secure a solid result for his team.

One of the key factors in Di Giannantonio’s optimism is the performance of his VR46 Ducati. The Italian believes the bike has great potential, and he is working closely with his team to maximize its capabilities.

“Our bike has great potential, and the team and I are ready to give our best,” he affirmed, highlighting the confidence he has in the machinery.

As the MotoGP grid heads to Argentina, Di Giannantonio is focused on making the most of his improving physical condition and the strengths of his VR46 Ducati. While he acknowledges the challenge ahead, his determination and love for the track at Termas de Río Hondo could be the key to a strong performance in the second round of the season.
